The first e-bike demo weekend will take place August 14-15 at Alexandra Palace, showcasing a number of brands with fleets of e-bikes available for testing.
The brands present are Brompton, Ridgeback, Saracen, Dawes, Falcon, Specialized, Cannondale, Tern, Apache, Gazelle, Wisper, Electrify, ARCC, Angell.bike, Revolutionworks, Chill eBikes, Volt, Mustache, Gocycle, MiRiDER, Riese & Muller and Urban Arrow.
The show is a tasting event for the annual Cycle Show and London eBike Festival at Alexandra Palace in April 2022 and an opportunity to fine-tune the procedures for the test tracks next year.
Visitors will be able to test drive a range of bikes from traditional city bikes ideal for leisure rides with friends and family, to sporty folding bikes for anyone looking to wick away the sweat from their journeys.
For all-terrain cyclists, there will be a selection of electric mountain bikes and gravel bikes to try out on a trail through the woods. Kids can also place a range of Squish Bikes around a short kids-only track along the Demonstration Village.
The event is free, with demonstrations held throughout the day and bikes available on a first come, first served basis. Priority tickets are also available for £ 5 to secure your journey. A registration system will be put in place for timed sessions so that organizers can manage attendance during peak periods.
The eBike Demo Weekend is hosted by Immediate Live, the trading name of Upper Street Events and River Street Events.
