Cyclists who stop at Dallas Bike Works will soon be able to grab a dose of caffeine with a tune-up of their bike.

Christina James is a barista and competitive cyclist who works at the bicycle store located on W. Lawther Drive. Her family is from Colombia, she told the Dallas Morning News, and they own a coffee farm.

It was his idea to launch Pull Through Coffee in the store, in part to encourage riders to stay before or after rides. In the future, she also wants to offer beer and wine.

Local products will be used at the café, including Cultivar coffee beans and pastries from Leila bakery.

The cafe is expected to open by the end of the year. There will be a few stools inside, but most people will order from the walk-in window outside.

Dallas Bike Works and Pull Through Coffee are located at 4875 W. Lawther Dr.
