The Electric Bike Shop has opened a new store near Gloucester – its ninth store overall.
The Gloucester store is located just off Junction 12 of the M5 on the Dobbies Garden Center site, alongside Mountain Warehouse, The Works and a Sainsbury’s Local.
As one of the largest e-bike shops, it has over 50 e-bikes on display, a wide range of cycling accessories and a fully equipped workshop.
The Gloucester e-bike shop will be run by Vince Mackie, who left a successful stint at his Stroud store. Its assistant manager is John, who will also oversee the workshop while Ethan completes the technical team.
“It’s a huge honor to open our new store in Gloucester and something I’m extremely proud of,” said Mackie. “Having worked for the Electric Bike Shop family for over 2 years and in bicycle retail for over a decade, this is definitely a special moment.
“Being on the Dobbies site is a great location for us and we are very happy to welcome existing and new customers to our newest store.
“As an e-bike user myself, I’m a huge fan of modern e-bike technology, making cycling accessible and enjoyable for those looking to get active again, improve their fitness or simply get better. have more fun on two wheels.”
This follows The Electric Bike Shop announcing the opening of its eighth store earlier this month, located on Leeds Road in Harrogate. The store offers an extensive range of e-bikes from Bianchi, Cube, Eovolt, GoCycle, Haibike, Lapierre, Moustache, Raleigh, Riese & Müller and Tern, as well as cycling accessories.
