Yezdi Bike Awards: Yezdi Adventure, Scrambler and Roadster launched; Price, specs, features |

MUMBAI: The classic legends officially launched the Yezdi brand again in India today with three new motorcycles; Yezdi Adventure, Yezdi Scrambler and Yezdi Roadster. Primarily opposed to Royal Enfield, these bikes fit broadly into the 350cc class.
The new range of Yezdi motorcycles will be available through the dealer network of Classic Legends, which already sells Jawa motorcycles in India. Trials, reservations and deliveries of the new Yezdi motorcycles will begin today. Customers can reserve their favorite Yezdi model online with a reservation amount of INR 5,000.
All three bikes are powered by the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which also powers the Jawa Perak. However, the engine has been tuned differently to suit the characteristics of the motorcycles. In Roadster, this engine returns a power of 29.7 hp at 7300 rpm and a maximum torque of 29 Nm at 6500 rpm. In Scrambler, this power mill produces 29.1 PS at 8,000 rpm and 28.2 Nm at 6,750 rpm. In adventure, this engine produces 30.2 hp at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 29.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm. All three bikes are offered with a 6-speed gearbox.
Speaking on the new models, Classic Legends CEO Ashish Joshi said: “The biggest challenge for us when developing the new Yezdi motorcycle(s) was keeping the spirit intact. We also knew that motorcyclists have evolved over the past decades and have taken a very focused approach. What you see now are three “purpose-built” motorcycles to meet the needs of riders across the spectrum. We have always sought to redefine the Modern Classic segment in the country and we have gone ahead and that is exactly what we have done.
Yezdi Adventure

The company says the Yezdi Adventure is designed to meet the demands of a long-distance cyclist. It gets iconic ADV styling cues such as a slat and large front windshield, plus a sculpted fuel tank and high stance. It also sports a neo-retro design language thanks to a round LED headlight, fork gaiters and wire-spoke wheels. It also includes split-style seats and a raised rear section. The Adventure version gets a single exhaust pipe with a raised canister.
Yezdi also offers many accessories to customize the look of the bike. Accessories such as panniers, luggage boxes, jerry cans and hand guards add to the touring capabilities of the bike.
Speaking of features, YezdiAdventure comes with USB charging capability and Bluetooth connectivity to ensure that the user’s smartphone is used throughout the ride. With its mobile application, the system is also able to display detailed navigation on the integrated TFT/LCD. The screen is also adjustable for better viewing angles while also featuring a trip navigator, speedometer, side stand indicator and clock. The speedometer features a Distance to Empty dial and an Average Fuel Economy dial for better fuel management.
Yezdi Adventure is based on the same double cradle chassis as Scrambler and Roadster. However, adjustments have been made to accommodate its adventure tourism characteristics. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock in the rear. The front and rear units offer 200mm and 180mm of travel respectively. The Adventure benefits from a healthy 220mm of ground clearance as well as dual-channel ABS with disc brakes and calipers from Bybre. The bike rolls on 21-inch front wheels and 17-inch rear wheels that are wrapped in dual-purpose tires.
The Yezdi Adventure is priced at ₹2.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in Slick Silver color option. The top variant, Ranger Camo, is priced at ₹2.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Yezdi Jammer

The Yezdi Scrambler adopted a design language reminiscent of the original Yezdi brand of the 1980s and 90s. Some common visual highlights include
a single seat with a classic round tank, retracted headlight with offset speedometer pod, straight/commander handlebar position, typical scrambler twin exhausts, off-road tires and a front fender lip give a distinct character to the bike.
The Scrambler comes with telescopic forks at the front and twin gas shocks at the rear with a wheelbase of 1403mm.
The Scrambler is offered with disc brakes at both ends and Continental’s dual-channel ABS, with three switchable modes – Road, Rain and Off-Road. The headlight, taillights and turn signals are all equipped with LED lighting.
Yezdi Scrambler prices start at ₹2.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in Fire Orange and Rebel Red color. The Mid Green and Midnight Blue color variants were priced at ₹2.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Yezdi Roadster

The Roadster is claimed to be designed with a mix of classic styling and modern touches. It offers a low, cruiser-like stance with relaxed ergonomics for long-distance riding.
The Roadster is the only bike here to offer alloy wheels in an 18-inch/17-inch combination with fender cuts. There is a digital speedometer along with LED headlights and indicators adding modern touches to the bike.
The Roadster features a double-cradle frame and comes equipped with Continental’s dual-channel ABS, just like the other two bikes.
Yezdi Roadster prices start at ₹1.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Roadster Dark (Smoke Gray) variant. The Steel Blue is priced at ₹2.02 lakh while the Roadster Chrome and Gallant Gray are priced at ₹2.06 lakh.
